Hello ~ I thought it was finally time to join the rest of the blogging world, so here's a little bit about me. For those of you who don't know me, I was born and raised in the Midwest and currently live with my hubbie in a quaint rural suburb outside the Chicago area filled with lots of old churches and antique shops. Over the years, I have developed a strong taste for anything vintage...I truly am obsessed with vintage linens ~ can't have enough! I love going to flea markets and garage sales and digging through things never knowing where the next treasury might be(I think I missed my calling ~ I should have been an archaeologist!) lol. I have a couple of favorite antique shops that I always find a lot of great stuff to make my jewelry with and usually transforming them into one of my designs in my mind before they even get home. I love nature and enjoy bird watching, and am always inspired by it! We built a bluebird house, so we usually have several bluebirds nesting in it and flying around in our yard in the spring along with hummingbirds, goldfinches, and many other beautiful birds. I also love planting flowers, traveling, photography, animals(especially dachshunds), sudoku and crossword puzzles.
